Well this is a long time coming but I wanted to document our Christmas of 2008. We celebrated a little early because on the actual day of Christmas we were in PA.
Here is Emma on the plane to PA on Dec 24, 2008. Both the kids did great on the plane ride. Better than expected.
Spencer slept most of the way.

Then we spent Christmas morning with family. Opening more presents.

Then we begun our drive down to DC for the wedding. We got to see all this beautiful Pennsalvania country as we drove.

After the Temple sealing we drove back to PA. Then more snow & sledding!

Steve is such a trooper! Emma & Spencer are so blessed to have such a wonderful dad!
I hung out in the hottub with Ali & JL.
Then we drove up to Scranton, PA (Office fans know where I am talking about!) for the reception. It was about an hour & 10 min drive.

At the reception we had so much fun dancing and eating yummy food. We Partied Hard! Jessica holding her son Ross.
I think Tina looked so pretty. She handled the stress well.

The next few days the snow began to melt 
& we headed out to have a little family bonding time.
So we drove down to Hershey, PA. And went to the Hershey Chocolate factory.
Here we are as a family on the fun & "free" ride that we rode like 3 times. It tells how they make all the yummy chocolate!
The kids got to be a part of the fun factory experience. The loved it!
When we got back from our mini trip, Grandpa took Emma for a ride on the Vespa. She loved it & looked so funny with that big thing on her small head!

And last but not least, Our trip home. 
We had a blast & are glad we did not get sick while we were there (like we did 2 yrs ago-when we went) but we were so ready to get home!
The day after we got home I did not really have a chance to rest much. I had a Primary Presidency mtg and then a day with my sister Kelly & sister in law Lavonda, scrapbooking all day! (sorry - no picture). It was so fun, but I was so beat!
Then the next day went to the stake's child of record baptism. Then sunday we were so greatful that our church started at 1:30pm, but Emma threw up the night before and so Steve stayed at home with her. I spend all of Monday doing absolutly nothing. I sure needed that day to be a bum. Glad we are back to normalcy!
How we spent our Christmas break
Cousin Kristy
I got to visit my cousin Kristy who I have not seen in about 5 years. We used to have Wet n Wild (which is now called Hurricane Harbor)season passes & would go all the time together. Then we got older and grew apart a little but we have always remained friends and I am so blessed to call her family. It was awesome seeing her with her kids, she is such a good mom. Love you Kristy and I loved seeing you. She is also moving over seas this year for her husband's work, so we will not see her for a while. Although we are planning a trip to see her in a couple of years. Can't wait to find out where they will be living.

Vacay
Well it was awesome to see Richie and Caitlin get married in the Washington D.C. Temple. We love them so much and are so happy for them. The will be living at Penn State for one semester while Rich works on his Degree and then maybe moving to Alaska. More pictures are to come. So far we have had a blast up here in Pennsylvania. I will post more when I have more time. But I will tell you have got to go sledding there was a ton of snow on the ground, although it is quickly melting!
What is happening!
Emma had her 4 year old doctor appointment on Friday. She is 41 lbs 6oz. & 41.5 inches tall. She got 4 shots and did not even cry. She just cringed a little and said, "That hurt". LOL
Today I am doing laundry and am beginning packing for our trip. We leave on Wed afternoon. We will be visiting Steve's family and going to Richie's wedding. We will be back Dec 31 in the evening.

Most people that meat Emma learn right away that she is full of energy! LOL But if they look past that free spirit, they will see a very sweet and loving little girl. Emma loves people. She has many hobbies and things she is naturally talented in. Gymnastics is number 1 on her list right now. She also lives to dance, sing songs, and do crafts. She also adores her little brother Spencer and her parents, although she is a mommas girl. We are so blessed to have Emma in our lives. We love you Emma, have a wonderful day!
