Sunday before church

This past sunday after I dressed the kids for church I thought they looked so cute I wanted to take their picture. When you tell Emma to say cheese, you get this ultra cheesy smile. Spencer has not perfected his cheesiness yet.

She cut her bangs AGAIN

Well I guess looks are not important but I have to admit I was a little sad when Emma cut her hair again today this makes like the 4th time. I was reorganizing my kitchen cabinets and had set her at the table with a coloring book and crayons. I walked to the office to put something away and she said "mommy I cut my hair." Shortly followed by "only mommy & daddy can cut my hair." I should have known they would not be safe on the kitchen counter in a closed box. Man she moves fast. This photo was taken today while she was napping.

Spencer is growing up

Spencer is almost 8 months now. He is walking along furniture and crawling very fast (the real crawl) and he is saying dada and mama. Emma is trying to get him to say Emma but he has not figured it out yet. We were in Dillards yesterday buying Steve some new work clothes and Spencer discovered his image in the mirror. It was so cute!

Pictures of our new home

We feel really blessed to be the home we are in. We feel thankful for every opportunity and learning experience we have had in the recent days.

Hotel Stay

Well once we got where we were going we began our week and a half stay in the hotel of our choice. This gave us enough time to look for our house and close on it. Thanks to our realtor Leanna who helped us through it all. This is a picture of Emma and mommy at the hotel.

We started out wide awake and excited for the adventure ahead.......

Farewell to Friends

Potty Training

Emma is currently being potty trained. She does a good job at telling me she has to go tee tee but is scared to do the other and demand I put a diaper on her. How do I help her get over this fear. Any suggestions.

Houses.....Houses.......& more Houses

Well this past weekend the kids & I took a trip to Dallas to go house hunting! It was lots of fun and saw a lot of houses. We will probably end up in South Arlington near Mansfield but who knows. Steve will be starting work on June 18 so it won't be long.
