Cousin Kristy

I got to visit my cousin Kristy who I have not seen in about 5 years. We used to have Wet n Wild (which is now called Hurricane Harbor)season passes & would go all the time together. Then we got older and grew apart a little but we have always remained friends and I am so blessed to call her family. It was awesome seeing her with her kids, she is such a good mom. Love you Kristy and I loved seeing you. She is also moving over seas this year for her husband's work, so we will not see her for a while. Although we are planning a trip to see her in a couple of years. Can't wait to find out where they will be living.

Vacay

Well it was awesome to see Richie and Caitlin get married in the Washington D.C. Temple. We love them so much and are so happy for them. The will be living at Penn State for one semester while Rich works on his Degree and then maybe moving to Alaska. More pictures are to come. So far we have had a blast up here in Pennsylvania. I will post more when I have more time. But I will tell you have got to go sledding there was a ton of snow on the ground, although it is quickly melting!

What is happening!

Emma had her 4 year old doctor appointment on Friday. She is 41 lbs 6oz. & 41.5 inches tall. She got 4 shots and did not even cry. She just cringed a little and said, "That hurt". LOL

Today I am doing laundry and am beginning packing for our trip. We leave on Wed afternoon. We will be visiting Steve's family and going to Richie's wedding. We will be back Dec 31 in the evening.

Most people that meat Emma learn right away that she is full of energy! LOL But if they look past that free spirit, they will see a very sweet and loving little girl. Emma loves people. She has many hobbies and things she is naturally talented in. Gymnastics is number 1 on her list right now. She also lives to dance, sing songs, and do crafts. She also adores her little brother Spencer and her parents, although she is a mommas girl. We are so blessed to have Emma in our lives. We love you Emma, have a wonderful day!

My Utah Trip

This is the beautiful view I woke up to for 2 days. I say 2 because sunday morning Tina and I were on a 6am flight back to DFW.
I got to be a guest at the weekly breakfast my Aunt Verdene and Aunt Kay share. She is so beautiful!
I love this woman! She is like a second mother to me. My Aunt Kay is so dear to me. She reminds me a lot of her sister (my mom).
Ally came with 2 of her 4 children. I am holding Addy and Allyson is holding Aubrey. After we had breakfast I followed Ally to her new house & she showed me around. It is so amazing. I love it!
Then I met my friend Betsy for lunch in the cafe in the Joseph Smith building. We had not seen each other in several years and had a great time talking. We set a tradition, "lunch once a year".

Then I drove to see my friend from the days I lived in Provo. Stacy and I had also not seen each other for like 8 or 9 years! It was good to see her. By the way it does not feel like THAT long ago!
This was my old apartment in Provo. Stacy actually lived next door but was at our place more. She liked us better!

Then I drove to Manti, UT. I went with my sister in law Ali and Tina to the Temple. It was a night and dark so I have no pictures of that. Sorry! But it was great! I got to meet J.L. and his family. They are getting married in Jan. I love them! They are awesome!
The next morning I headed back towards Salt Lake. I had a little time & decided to stop when I saw this.
I got to go inside this beautiful Temple.

I got 1st class on both of the flights. It was fun on the way back sitting next to Tina. I also got a Trailblazer for my rental car. It was so fun and gave me new blessings to be thankful for. Of those the number 1 is Family and Friends! By the way it did not snow the whole time I was there. But I heard it snowed the day after I left. Oh well, we will be back up there in Jan and we will probably see snow then.
