Emma finally got her birthday trip. Her birthday day is in Dec near Christmas, so as you know that is a busy time of year and this was the first week end we had free. Steve took her to Washington DC. GG Fowler drive down to be with them. They got to see many things including the White House, the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Air & Space Museum, Natural History Museum. They had a blast

In December Emma and Steve ran the Jingle Bell Jog for the 2nd year. Last year Emma got 3rd place in her age division. This is a video of her crossing the finish line. She got 3rd place again! We are so proud of her because she never gave up even though it was hard! She also shaved like 9 minutes off her time from last year!

This little guy turned 5 years old.Instead of a party we do birthday trips at 5 years old. He wanted to to go here! I am pretty behind on posting about our life. Steve has been traveling alot this summer, including a quick trip to Santiago, Chile. I told her she had to learn to tie her shoes before they would let her go to first grade. LOL So I showed her once and she got it on the second try. So Steve got a bike for his birthday and now we all have bikes. So we have been going on family bike rides and we have had soooo much fun. Last saturday we were gone for 2 or 3 hours and in the last five minutes I was going down this steep hill and my handle bars bolt/screw was loose so I crashed trying to avoid a creek bed. Emma has a Family project a school where they had to choose an animal that lives in the ocean and make a project and share with the class 3 facts about the animal. So we chose to make a stuffed sea horse and it is going to help her tell her story! We had fun working together on this project!

Yesterday we went to Steve's work to trick or treat. As always they did a great job decorating for the kids. They had a pirate Peter Pan area, an under the sea, Neverland, Toystory sections and a few more. So Fun! I love that we can participate in this tradition!
