The Memory Post

The Memory Post

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!

3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include them!

4. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all ☺(this goes mostly for my sisters)

And please do this on your page too, so we can all share in the fun times together. :)

Lots of memories in our friendship already but I think I'l always remember how you helped me sniff all those diapers to guess what was in them! (That sounds really bad for those that dont know the details.. so I think I'll leave it this way)

One thing I remember is scrapbooking with you once in the Jefferson Hwy. Apt. pool house (where it seemed everyone lived). You were making a board book of things you loved or something for a future child...you weren't even pregnant at the time...and I thought that was so cool to love your family so much that you would make something before she even was born or created.

My favorite memory of you is when you leaned over in Relief Society and introduced yourself on one of my first Sundays. I was so self-conscious because I was so big and pregnant and I didn't know ANYONE. I am always so petrified to make the first move with new people, and it opened the door for me to TALK which I never do. I learned that you were just as new as I was, and that we had a lot in common, like our age, and so I really appreciated that you took the first step. I really liked you from that point on.

Oh, and I also remember when you called on me in Sunday School and I didn't have my scriptures and I was embarrassed that I couldn't help you out. hehe, Sorry about that, it had been a crazy morning and I ran out without grabbing them!

Of course, I also really enjoyed that conversation we had on the phone about a month ago.

Hey, I'm coming over tomorrow, so maybe we can have a new memory to post then, lol

Good times!

Kathy! I didn't think it had been that long since I looked at your blog, but it has! Love the new pics of the kids. Love Emma's new do.

Let's see, what memory should I pick.....

There is the one from way back the very day school got out for the summer I think I had just finished 2nd grade. We went over to your house that used to be over by grandmas house. We were all playing in the sprinklers and we decided the hood of our station wagon made a good slide so we put the hose on it and I brok my arm.

Then there was the time you and Kristy and Farrah came to UT for spring break. We went hiking in the snow and then biking in Moab. That was fun.

I also remember being at the stake dance when you met Steve and I remember you telling us all about him. Do I have that right? I think I was there?

I remember when you came up to visit and you babysat Zac for us. You should come visit again. I promise I won't even make you babysit.

It's so funny that you picked the book club memory, because that is my favorite memory of you! It was so fun to watch you recap the whole book. Seriously, you could bring that act on tour!!! What an interesting book, huh? Whoa. Glad we survived it. Hope all is well, now I have to catch up on your posts.
